The Ostwind Crew starts into the new year with a great warm Split EP on
their 4th limited output. This time as a coloured series!! On the A side we
have Ostwind guy Nils Nilson with his best work so far. "Der Fischer und
Siene Fru" is a strong dub infected techhouse floor swinger with detroitish
chords, driving percussions and short pushing breaks. The song name fits
perfect, you can perfectly hear the happy Fisher arriving at home and his
angry wife waiting for him behind the door:) The B side contains the Night
Drive Music labelheads Andre Kronert & Acel Schuh aka Neurotron. They
present a nice deep and unbelievably driving deephouse to techhouse track.
Luscious beats and fiercely driving rhythms are chased by mystic chords, efx
and horns. Ingeniously dreaming techhouse tune which makes you sweat. The
title is an old german language which used to be spoken by people who lived
near and around the Baltic Sea. It means: here in our home. It explains the
fresh feeling, the fresh air and the refreshing live near by the water.

Like the Titel 01 track and will be trying it out this weekend. The other is a good
deep house track that has the energy to fit into different sets...

Solid ep both version are good,the B-Track sounds deep and housey, very cool on the break, the groove, dynamics and mental flow of the A-Track are also dope.

Very nice bouncy piece of Dub Tech, has a cool minimal tech groove with a lovely rolling dub style over it.  Some good movement in the filters and fx, this ones good makes me wanna turn it up and have a shake.
Will definitely fit alongside some of the stuff I am playing in my techier sets.
Neurotron - Bi Uns Tu Hus:
This ones a very nice deep minimal groover, with some nice sweeping pads, plods along groovily with  a bumpy bass,
and after a while some decent deep house rhodes chords make an appearance, that complement the overall feel of the tune.
Has  a nice trippy little breakdown, where upon afterwards some new musical elements are introduced.
First half works best for me but I will certainly use it.
